CARE believes in women who have voice and influence in decision making. This means increasing women’s voice and leadership in public life – including civil society, government and service provision.
HOW WE WORK
• Coalition- Building
• Leadership and Advocacy Training
• Countering Gender Bias
WHAT WE DO
CARE’s advocacy work in Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru supported the Ratification of ILO Convention 189 on decent work for domestic workers.
CARE built the capacity of domestic workers’ organisations to improve their representativeness, ability to organise and advocate for their rights.
For more examples of what we do to increase women's voice and leadership see here.
